Easy Ladyfingers Recipe for Tiramisu (Savoiardi) | Fuzz & Buzz
In today's video, we're bringing you an easy Ladyfingers Recipe. These delicate, sponge-like cookies are perfect for creating delightful desserts like Tiramisu, Zuppa inglese or Charlotte Cake. 🍪💕👇 INGREDIENTS👇 SUBSCRIBE ►cutt.ly/8rLVINX
Ingredients:
4.5 oz (130g) egg yolks
3.5 oz (100g) granulated sugar
7 oz (200g) egg whites
3.1 oz (90g) granulated sugar
2.3 oz (65g) potato starch
5.3 oz (150g) all-purpose flour
50-60g powdered sugar
Follow the instructions in the video for baking the ladyfingers.
Place the baking sheet with the piped ladyfingers in the preheated oven on the center rack and bake for 7-8 minutes.
Once baked, remove the ladyfingers from the oven and allow them to cool completely on a wire rack.

I thought that the recipe/instruction in the description was really difficult to follow, here's a reworked version: Ingredients: 22-24 ladyfingers (Italian Savoiardi biscuits) 3/8 cup (85 g) turbinado sugar (raw cane sugar) 1 cup and 2 tablespoons (250 g) high-fat mascarpone cheese (cold) 1 and 1/4 cups (300 ml) heavy whipping cream (chilled) 1 and 1/4 cups (300 ml) strong coffee (cold) 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (or other vanilla products of your choice) Unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting) Directions: - Prepare the Coffee 1. Prepare the coffee: Brew 1 and 1/4 cups (300 ml) of strong coffee and set it aside to cool. - Make the Mascarpone Cream 2. Beat mascarpone: In a medium bowl, beat 1 cup and 2 tablespoons (250 g) of mascarpone cheese with 3 tablespoons of the heavy whipping cream until smooth. 3. Whip cream: In another bowl, whip the remaining chilled heavy whipping cream (about 1 and 1/8 cups or 267 ml) with 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and 3/8 cup (85 g) of turbinado sugar until soft peaks form. 4 Combine mascarpone and cream: Add the mascarpone mixture to the whipped cream and combine while continuing to whisk. Hi !Still love your video,worst part is wait 3 hours. I usually do overnight, that is how i train my patience 😂😢. I usually smear bottom of mold with cream, because sometimes lady fingers stick to mold and i can't cut neatly.This trick helps me cut slice almost perfectly. Im Australian so im afraid i have to add alcohol (just a teenie bit 🤭). I add Tia Maria or Kahlua to the coffee or if youre really careful and only add a few drops at a time you can add some to the cream mixture instead. Only a small amount or the cream will 'separate'.😊
